Position Overview

At Squirro, we’re offering a unique opportunity for a Solutions Engineering Intern to work on real-world customer projects, helping organizations integrate our cutting-edge AI platform into their ecosystems. This internship is ideal for those who are excited about both technology and working closely with customers to bring solutions to life.

You’ll take ownership of a project that supports the deployment, configuration, or extension of Squirro’s platform within a real customer use case. This role goes beyond coding—you’ll be exposed to solution architecture, customer requirements, and end-to-end integration, gaining invaluable experience in enterprise AI deployment.

🚀 What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with the Solutions Engineering team to define a project that supports a live customer integration.


• Develop custom modules, connectors, or backend components using Python and JavaScript to extend platform functionality.


• Assist in configuring and deploying Squirro’s solution across hybrid environments (cloud/on-prem).


• Work with unstructured data sources (emails, documents, chat logs, etc.) to integrate and enrich customer data.


• Document technical designs and implementation processes for internal and customer-facing use.

🎯 What You Bring

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.


• A passion for solving real-world problems with technology and a curiosity about how AI solutions are deployed in practice.


• Familiarity with backend programming, particularly in Python or similar modern languages.


• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail when working with data.


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to cloud platforms and Linux-based environments.


• Experience working with REST APIs or integrating third-party data sources.


• An interest in enterprise software, AI, or natural language processing.


• Familiarity with concepts such as search relevancy or data modeling.
