JOB SUMMARY:
The Trainee, ESD supports the sustainable design team by assisting with research, documentation, data collection and basic modelling tasks. The role provides exposure to sustainability frameworks, green certification processes and environmental performance analysis, while developing foundational skills needed for a future role in environmental design.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist with gathering sustainability data, site information and environmental performance metrics.
• Support preparation of reports, drawings, charts and presentation materials.
• Conduct research on green technologies, sustainable materials and design strategies.
• Assist in preparing documentation for green certification schemes such as Green Mark, LEED or WELL.
• Update spreadsheets, environmental checklists and project tracking logs.
• Support senior ESD staff in performing basic simulations or analytical tasks as instructed.
• Participate in design meetings, workshops and training sessions.
• Assist in site visits to observe environmental performance testing or sustainability assessments.
• Maintain organised design libraries, reference materials and documentation.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Diploma in Architecture, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability or related field.
• No prior experience required; fresh graduates or interns transitioning to full-time roles are welcome.
• Interest in sustainability, environmental simulation or green building design.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office; exposure to BIM or modelling tools is a plus.
• Strong willingness to learn, ability to follow instructions and good attention to detail.
