JOB SUMMARY:
The Trainee, Interior Design supports the design team by assisting with drafting, presentation preparation, material research and documentation tasks while learning foundational design principles and workflows. The role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to interior design projects, tools and processes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in preparing simple drawings, sketches, layouts and presentation materials.
• Support creation of mood boards, material palettes and finish selections.
• Maintain design libraries, samples and reference materials.
• Provide support in documentation, file management and design coordination tasks.
• Participate in design discussions, reviews and basic space planning activities.
• Attend site visits with supervisors to understand installation and design implementation.
• Learn drafting standards, interior design principles and project workflows.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Interior Design or related field preferred.
• No experience required; fresh graduates welcomed.
• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp or Adobe Creative Suite is an advantage.
• Strong willingness to learn, attention to detail and passion for interior design.
