Responsibilities
• Tracks, prepares and typically processes the more complex financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner • Analyzes and reconciles source information/documentation in financial systems on a regular basis • Identifies issues and resolves discrepancies within procedures and guidelines • Escalates non-routine issues to supervisor/manager as appropriate • Prepares analysis, statements or reports from statistical and financial information for management review on a regular basis • Communicates frequently with individuals representing outside organizations and/or individuals of significant importance within the company • Participates in special projects to provide routine and non-routine accounting support
Requirements
• 5+ years of general accounting experience or equivalent years of experience in clerical accounting positions (or equivalent college-level courses) • Familiarity with general accounting principles and practices • Thorough understanding of technical operations and accounting techniques
