6 Months Accounts Payable & General Ledger Assistant Central Up To $4000 #NKA - Part-Time

Location: Bishan

Duration: 6 months contract (possibility of extension, depending on performance)

Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 9am - 6pm

Salary: Up to $4000

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform 3-way matching and process vendor invoices, debit/credit notes.
• Handle AP postings, vendor reconciliations, payment runs (GIRO, TT, cheque), and AP aging reports.
• Process employee expense claims and maintain vendor/customer master data.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and fixed asset accounting.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow forecasts, liquidity reports, and departmental expense reports.
• Support GST filing, month-end/year-end closing, group reporting, and internal controls.
• Maintain accounting policies and ensure compliance with Group and Company guidelines.
• Support project/job costing, including job creation/closure, engineer timesheets, costing reports, and maintenance reporting.
• Perform ad hoc accounting tasks such as stock adjustments and foreign exchange rate updates.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Accounting
• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in MS Office
• Meticulous with attention to details, independent and adept at taking initiative and multitasking
• Capable of managing high levels of stress and meeting tight deadline
• Capable of collaborating effectively in a team environment and communicating clearly with others
• Knowledge of ACCPAC / SAGE300 is advantageous.
