Accounting Lead – Murex MX.3-12 Months Contract - Part-Time

Experience: 8+ Years | Platform: Murex MX.3 | Domain: Finance & Accounting

Senior Murex Finance & Accounting SME responsible for leading Accounting Engine configuration, Finance reporting, P&L, MTM, GL reconciliation, accounting controls, and Finance transformation initiatives within a banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of Murex Accounting Engine and Finance reporting solutions.
• Manage accounting configurations, GL mappings, accounting templates, accruals, amortization, and MTM reporting.
• Drive Finance requirements gathering, functional design, testing, reconciliation, and UAT activities.
• Ensure accurate accounting entries, ledger reconciliation, P&L reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Finance, Product Control, Risk, Operations, and Technology teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Murex MX.3 Accounting Engine & Finance Module.
• Expertise in P&L Attribution, MTM Valuation, Accruals, Amortization, and Accounting Entries.
• Experience with General Ledger (GL) Reconciliation and Financial Reporting.
• Strong understanding of Capital Markets Products (FX, Fixed Income, Money Markets, IRD).
• Advanced stakeholder management, testing, UAT, and Finance transformation experience.
