Job Description - Accounts And HR Executive - Part-Time

Company Overview

Handy Containers is a leading company specializing in designing and building a wide range of instant temporary site accommodations, rest areas, offices, canteens, and other facilities.

Job Summary

Manage and execute HR, finance, compliance, and office administration tasks to support operational efficiency and organizational growth at Handy Containers.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment activities by scheduling interviews and managing onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure smooth talent acquisition and integration
  • Process payroll, CPF submissions, IRAS filings, employee claims, and leave administration to maintain accurate and timely employee compensation
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation to support compliance and organizational needs
  • Track employee leave, claims, and payroll data to ensure proper record-keeping and reporting
  • Support the implementation of HR policies and employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture
  • Prepare invoices promptly and track payments and expenses to maintain accurate financial records
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices and collections to ensure timely cash flow management
  • Maintain the Cashbook and prepare monthly bank reconciliations to support financial accuracy
  • Liaise with external accountants for monthly closing and financial reporting to ensure compliance and transparency
  • Maintain proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes to support regulatory requirements
  • Support office administration, including licensing, insurance renewals, and operational matters to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Assist management with financial analysis, reporting, and process improvement to enhance business performance
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by management to support organizational objectives

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, HR, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience (fresh graduates may be considered)
  • Experience with Info-Tech systems
