Analyst, Trade Settlement (1-Year Contract) - Part-Time

Please note that this is a 1-Year Contract position

You will be responsible for handling, executing, and processing all paper trade transactions across Equinor value chains. This includes monitoring financial trade transactions; managing post-trade processing and resolving trade settlement issues; maintaining transaction records; and monthly brokerage payment/reconciliation.

You are utilizing your knowledge independently to solve highly complex tasks with a short to medium-term tactical impact/risk. You address key business challenges that align with Equinor's short and long-term strategy via providing specialist support to your team and others.​​You independently communicate within the immediate team, across other areas, and towards key stakeholders from partners or external parties. You regularly navigate conflicting agendas and may lead negotiations with senior stakeholders. You resolve challenges, deliver improvements and contribute to shaping best practices. Job Description

• Assist with financial trade transactions, including verifying trade details and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Responsible for handling and processing assigned commercial and trade transaction types within specified Equinor value chains.
• Contribute to process definition and the operationalization of change to ensure efficient and effective handling, and processing assigned commercial and trade transaction types. 
• Support the post-trade processing activities, such as trade settlement, reconciliation, and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any trade settlement issues or discrepancies in a timely manner. 
• Maintain transaction records and documentation, ensuring proper filing and organization for easy retrieval. 
• Assist in the preparation of reports and analysis related to contract performance and trade activities.
• Follow up and perform month-end update of paper deals in trading system.
• Ensure financial compliance, including closing period reporting.
