Application Support Analyst - Part-Time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled Application Support Analyst to support and enhance trade analytics systems within the financial markets domain. The role focuses on maintaining legacy applications, supporting cloud operations, and working closely with front-office users to troubleshoot and maintain financial trading systems.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Must have 3 years of experience in a production or application support in Banking environment;
• Must have strong working knowledge of Data Analytics, including troubleshooting and dashboard customization;
• Must have experience supporting or developing applications for financial trading systems;
• Experience with eFX trading platforms or an understanding of FX domain processes;
• Proven ability to remediate functional/non-functional issues in legacy platforms;
• Experience with system monitoring, patching, and cloud management.

Desired Skill-set

• Knowledge of IT Risk & Security controls and remediation planning;
• Exposure to Mosaic or other trade analytics tools, with strong analytical thinking and the ability to quickly grasp new technical concepts.
• Exposure in KDB+ (good to have but not mandatory) 

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and customize  eFX trading platforms/systems based on front-office user requirements;
• Resolve application and data-level issues within legacy financial systems;
• Implement functional enhancements and change requests in coordination with business users;
• Follow secure coding guidelines and ensure compliance with IT risk controls;
• Manage proactive remediation, patching, and cloud monitoring of supported platforms;
• Engage with users and stakeholders to deliver effective and timely solutions;
• Actively contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and process improvement initiatives.
