Assistant Finance Manager (Tax) (Aug 2026 - Feb 2027 / Big 4 Background) - Part-Time

Responsibilities:

• Manage day‑to‑day tax affairs for the assigned geographies, with a primary focus on tax compliance while maintaining a broad understanding of international tax issues.

• Prepare, review, and ensure timely submission of statutory tax filings, including corporate income tax, GST/VAT, withholding tax, CbCR, and other regulatory requirements.

• Support effective tax planning for capital allowance claims in a capital‑intensive business, working closely with external contractors and internal finance teams on capex classification and records.

• Liaise with tax authorities (e.g. IRAS), external tax advisers, and auditors on corporate tax matters, year‑end processes, and tax‑related queries.

• Provide support on group taxation matters, including withholding taxes, property taxes, GST, and transfer pricing guidelines, while monitoring tax legislation in Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines and assessing potential impacts.

• Any other duties or projects as assigned by the Management.
  

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, at least 4 years in Big 4 and 2 years in-house role.

• Reason being: Big4 provide a good foundation and training ground.

• Candidates must have commercial experience; fresh graduates from Big 4 firms will not be considered

• Open to candidate who are more senior.

• Flexible work arrangement, but at the beginning may need to be back in the office at least 4 days per week.
