Job:

• A meticulous, proactive Associate to support month-end, year-end close, and financial reporting.

• Model: Shared Services | Portfolio: 2+ sets of non-complex accounts | System: Recently migrated to SAP S/4HANA

Role:

• Month-End & Year-End Close: Own closing of accounts for the allocated Research Institute, including review and preparation of monthly accounting schedules with timely follow-up.

• InterCo & IntraCo: Handle Intercompany confirmations and Intragroup reconciliations. Drive closure with counterparts.

• Audit Support: Respond promptly to auditors during fieldwork on selected samples.

• Consolidation Support: Support consolidation of accounts for mid-year and final financial statements.

• Ad-hoc Support: Take on additional tasks as assigned during peak periods.

Requirements:

• GCE 'A' Level or Diploma in Accountancy or related field.

• Has at least 1 to 2 years in a finance/accounting role with full-set accounting experience.

• Advantageous: SAP experience. S/4HANA experience [live since 1 Apr 2026] will be an advantage.

• Grant accounting experience and government sector experience are a plus.

• Good command of MS Office applications.

• Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills.

• Strong team player.

• Independent, take initiative, learn quickly, and ask when in doubt.

• Meticulous with details and can manage your own portfolio of 2+ sets of accounts with review from the manager.

• Month-end and year-end are peak periods, so good time management is key.

• Grant accounting may be new to you — we’ll support, but you need to be a fast learner.

• You must already be based in Singapore.
