Automation & Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - Part-Time

Position Overview (6 months extendable Contract/Banking/up to 6K Basic)

We are seeking 3 highly motivated and technically skilled Automation & Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team within a leading banking environment in Changi Business Park. If your current skillset focuses heavily on UI/Application automation (RPA/Testing frameworks) and Enterprise Dashboarding, you are the one we are seeking.

In this role, you will design, develop, and support automation solutions that improve operational efficiency, system reliability, and service performance.

The ideal candidate possesses strong software development skills in Unix/Linux and Python, hands-on experience with object-based automation (RPA), and familiarity with dashboarding and monitoring tools such as ELK and OAPM.

Candidates should have hands-on experience supporting production environments and applying Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices through automation, monitoring, incident management, and continuous service improvement.

We are looking for someone with a passion for continuous improvement, automation, and a drive to eliminate operational friction.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Automation Solutions: Design, develop, and maintain robust automation solutions using Python and Unix/Linux technologies.
• Build RPA Workflows: Build and enhance object-based automation workflows leveraging RPA platforms and frameworks (such as Selenium or Playwright).
• Streamline Operations: Develop reusable automation components to streamline operational processes and significantly reduce manual intervention.
• Enhance System Observability: Design application monitoring and infrastructure performance tracking systems using observability platforms.
• Create Dashboards: Create and maintain operational dashboards, reports, and visualisations using Power Automate, ELK, OAPM, and related tools.
• Implement SRE Practices: Apply core Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to improve system availability, scalability, and resilience.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with infrastructure, application, and operations teams to automate daily tasks and improve overall service delivery.
• Technical Documentation: Document automation solutions, operational procedures, and technical designs clearly for the wider engineering team.

Job Requirements

• OS & Environment: Strong development and troubleshooting experience in Unix/Linux environments.
• Core Scripting: Practical proficiency in Python development and automation
• Automation Tooling: Direct experience in object-based automation, RPA solutions, Selenium, or Playwright.
• Observability Tech: Hands-on experience with dashboarding and monitoring tools, including Microsoft Power Automate, ELK stack, and OAPM frameworks.
• SRE Experience: Proven Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience with a focus on system resilience.
• Adaptability: Fast learner with the ability to quickly adapt to new automation technologies and strict banking operational requirements.
• Able to work on 6 months extendable contract assignment under Agency payroll
