Business Analyst - Part-Time

About the Role

We're looking for a Business Analyst with strong SQL and Python skills to join a data and reporting team supporting portfolio investment, risk management, and reporting initiatives. This is a hybrid role combining stakeholder engagement, business analysis, and hands-on data work.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document requirements.
• Translate business needs into structured data models, reporting specifications, and enhancement requests for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Facilitate discussions and align priorities across investment, risk, and reporting functions.
• Use SQL and Python to extract, transform, and analyse large datasets.
• Support and enhance data pipelines, reporting solutions, and management dashboards.
• Investigate data quality issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Deliver reporting and insights that support business and leadership decision-making.
• Contribute to automation, AI-enabled initiatives, and continuous process improvement.

Must‑Have Experience

• Must be a Singaporean Citizen.
• 5-10 years of experience in Business Analysis, Data Analytics, Data Engineering or a similar hybrid role.
• Experience working closely with business stakeholders and gathering requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with hands-on SQL and Python.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving abilities, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Have

• Banking, asset management, or financial services experience.
• Exposure to investment, portfolio, risk, or financial reporting data.
• Informatica or other ETL tool experience.
• Experience working on data transformation or AI-enabled initiatives.
