Business Analyst (Wealth Management) - Part-Time

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support Wealth Management Technology projects. The ideal candidate should have strong business analysis skills, experience in Agile delivery, and domain knowledge in investment and insurance products. You will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, testers, and project teams to deliver technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.
• Work closely with business users, developers, and testers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate requirement discussions, workshops, and stakeholder meetings.
• Prepare business cases, process flows, user journeys, and impact assessments.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions.
• Support Agile delivery activities including backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Prioritize and refine user stories with Product Owners and stakeholders.
• Coordinate testing, defect resolution, and production deployment activities.
• Manage release planning, deployment coordination, and post-release validation.
• Act as Scrum Master for up to two Agile squads, removing blockers and tracking delivery progress.
• Provide support during scheduled production releases, including occasional weekend deployments.
• Ensure effective communication between business, technology, testing, and operations teams.

Requirements

• 6–9 years of Business Analysis experience, preferably in Banking or Wealth Management.
• Strong knowledge of investment and insurance products.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Skilled in requirements gathering, process mapping, and user story documentation.
• Experience supporting production releases and deployment activities.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
• Knowledge of SQL, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, or Postman is an advantage.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, MCA, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Wealth Management platforms such as Finacle, Avaloq, or other core banking systems.
• Exposure to investment and insurance product platforms.
• Experience in release governance and implementation planning.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and Agile teams.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to identify risks, dependencies, and delivery gaps proactively.
