Business Applications Manager (12-Month Contract)

Job Summary

Our client, a leading international financial services organization, seeks a Business Applications Manager to drive application development, process automation, and IT initiatives across Singapore and Australia on a 12-month contract.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance business applications using Power Platform, SQL Server, Power BI, SharePoint, and related technologies to meet business needs
• Modernize legacy Excel and Access tools into scalable, maintainable solutions to improve system reliability
• Automate business processes and reporting workflows to increase operational efficiency and accuracy
• Gather detailed business requirements and perform thorough testing to ensure solution quality before deployment
• Maintain comprehensive application documentation and user support materials to facilitate knowledge transfer and user adoption
• Coordinate effectively with business stakeholders, regional technology teams, and external service providers to align project goals and deliverables
• Support IT governance, change management, audit activities, and enforce technology controls to ensure compliance and risk mitigation
• Assist with system upgrades, migrations, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance application performance and user experience

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related discipline
• Experience within financial services or regulated industries is advantageous
• Familiarity with IT service management, change management, or support environments
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
