Client Implementation Specialist,Payments & Integration(ISO20022&APIs) - Part-Time

The Opportunity

• Adecco is partnering with a leading bank to look for a Client Implementation Specialist, Payments & Integration (ISO 20022 & APIs)
• Starts off as 1 year contract

1. Role Purpose
The specialist will provide project management expertise and technical leadership to manage and execute the migration of existing clients to new services, data requirements, specifications, and platforms. The role is responsible for ensuring a seamless transition, maintaining data integrity, and minimising disruption to client and business operations.
This is a client-facing role requiring strong experience in client implementation, system integration, and payments-related projects. The successful candidate will work closely with external clients to support integration, testing, troubleshooting, and migration activities.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage client migration activities using best-practice project management methodologies.
• Conduct client training and provide advisory support throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Support client system testing, rollout, and post-migration readiness activities.
• Collaborate extensively with external clients and internal stakeholders to coordinate delivery and resolve issues.
• Use data extraction and transformation technologies to generate operational and management reports that track migration progress.

3. Preferred Experience and Knowledge
Essential

• Experience in client implementation, client onboarding, client integration, or technical consulting roles.
• Experience supporting end-to-end client implementations, including requirements gathering, integration, testing, go-live, and post-implementation support.
• Hands-on experience with system integration technologies, including file-based and API-based integration.
• Experience troubleshooting integration-related issues and working directly with clients to resolve technical and operational challenges.
• Strong stakeholder management experience, with the ability to engage both business and technical teams.

Advantageous

• Knowledge of ISO 20022, SWIFT, and payment message standards.
• Experience within transaction banking, payments, cash management, fintech, or related financial services environments.
• Familiarity with payment connectivity channels, host-to-host integrations, APIs, and file transmission protocols.

4. Key Competencies

• Strong communication skills are essential for effective stakeholder engagement, client support, and project delivery.
• Ability to confidently engage clients on implementation, integration, testing, and migration-related activities is critical to success in this role.
