This role is a 6 months contract.
The Collections Executive is responsible for managing collections and default handling for the company’s lease and hire purchase portfolio. This role requires strong initiative, excellent communication skills, and a results-driven mindset to ensure effective recovery and compliance with company policies.
• Proactively contact overdue and delinquent customers via phone and email to recover outstanding payments.
• Apply effective negotiation techniques and innovative approaches to encourage repayment and resolve defaults.
• Conduct research to obtain updated contact information for unreachable customers.
• Oversee the repossession and remarketing process for vehicles, ensuring timely and compliant execution.
• Maintain high standards in all collection activities and ensure adherence to internal quality benchmarks.
• Drive continuous improvement in collection processes to meet performance targets.
• Provide administrative support including contract management, loan processing, and day-to-day customer service.
• Respond to customer enquiries and complaints professionally across various channels (calls, emails, digital platforms).
• Handle requests related to loan details, early termination quotations, and invoice preparation.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders such as HPFLAS, LTA, and other relevant authorities.
• Prepare and submit daily and monthly disbursement reports.
• Ensure compliance with the 4-eyes principle and segregation of duties at all times.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
• Diploma or Degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in collections, default handling, or cash management within financial services, leasing, or automotive sectors.
• Strong initiative and a self-driven approach to problem-solving.
• Results-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
