Data Center Engineer (Bank) (JT) - Part-Time

This role requires working 12-hour rotating shifts and supports data centre operations and facilities in Singapore. The engineer will be responsible for performing daily operational duties within the data centre and remote building computer rooms.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Possess good knowledge of data centre operation tasks and duties.

2. Perform day-to-day data centre / computer operations duties (key management, escorting vendors, facilities infrastructure checks, powering-up of onboarded servers, degaussing, routine checks, laptop management)

3. Strong ability to support activities in data centre and secure rooms.

4. Ensure data centre procedures are followed strictly.

5. Ensure prompt escalation of all incidents, adhering to the standard incident response procedure, and track each incident to its complete resolution.

6. To generate reports to management.

7. Any other duties assigned by management.

8. Will cover duties as required.

9. Candidate will be assigned to a different data centre each month, rotating between East and West locations

10. Shift pattern is DDD-OOO-DDD-OOO-NNN-OOO-NNN-OOO-DDD, repeat....

11. Ability to work independently and in a team

12. Must have experience working in data centre operations in financial institutions.
