Finance Analyst (1 Year Contract) - Part-Time

Our client is a Manufacturing Services provider. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Finance Analyst (1 Year Contract) to be part of their Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the Central (Bishan) - easily accessible.

Responsibilities for Finance Analyst includes:

Supporting the Finance Director in day-to-day finance operations through financial reporting, data consolidation, and project support.

• Provide analytical and administrative support to the Finance Director across day-to-day finance operations and strategic initiatives.
• Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports, management reports, and performance analyses.
• Consolidate data from multiple sources, update dashboards and trackers, and ensure data accuracy.
• Support month-end closing activities, including data collection, reconciliations, and validation checks.
• Identify and escalate discrepancies, unusual trends, or data inconsistencies for further review.
• Maintain documentation for internal controls, audit requirements, and finance processes.
• Standardize reporting templates and monitor recurring deliverables to ensure timely completion.
• Prepare presentation materials, reports, and summaries for management meetings.
• Support pricing analysis, sales-related reporting, and cross-functional business requests.
• Assist in process improvement initiatives, system implementation projects, research activities, and ad hoc financial analyses.
• Coordinate information and documentation across internal stakeholders and regional teams.
• Manage meeting schedules, action trackers, and administrative tasks to support the Finance Director.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of relevant finance or accounting experience; internship experience will be considered.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including PivotTables and formulas) and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Microsoft Copilot is advantageous.
