Finance Analyst (Contract) - Part-Time

Our client, a global technology leader specialising in search, digital platforms, cloud computing, and data-driven innovation, is looking for a Financial Analyst who will support core FP&A processes, including financial modelling, data analysis, reporting, and dashboard automation to drive strategic decision-making and operational excellence.

This is a fixed term contract ending on the 14 Dec 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial reports, data, and research to support risk identification, mitigation, and escalation of key issues where necessary.
• Support FP&A activities through data analysis and reporting to improve operational efficiency, deliver insights, and support revenue growth.
• Develop and maintain financial models covering direct and allocated costs, planning, and forecasting for business initiatives.
• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, extract insights, and support business decision-making.
• Prepare and support financial reporting for business units, markets, or product areas.
• Maintain project documentation, track deliverables, meet deadlines, and proactively communicate risks or blockers.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support implementation of changes across finance workflows.
• Participate in broader team and organisational activities, including hiring support and employee engagement initiatives.

Requirements

• 6 years of experience in FP&A and finance operations including accounting principles and financial reporting processes
• Experience in financial modelling, forecasting, and performance tracking (including cost analysis, budgeting, and variance analysis)
• Strong analytical skills with experience in financial research, data analysis, and translating datasets into actionable insights
• Ability to identify, assess, and manage financial and operational risks, with sound judgment on escalation where needed
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to support process improvements and drive efficiency in finance workflows
• Technical proficiency with finance and data tools and systems (e.g. SQL, Oracle, SAP, Anaplan, BQ, PLX or similar platforms)
• Strong financial acumen and understanding of key business performance metrics and drivers
