Finance Business Partner (Govt Agency) - 1 Year - Part-Time

We are looking for a FBP with experience in cost optimisation and dashboarding to advise and create active partnerships with our business units.

• Basic up to $6,500 per month + Completion Bonus
• 1-year contract
• Labrador Park / Punggol Area / Hybrid
• Mon - Fri, office hours

What to expect:

• Partner with divisions and project managers to analyse financial performance, conduct business reviews, and provide strategic insights and recommendations.
• Identify and lead cost optimisation initiatives and process improvements to enhance operational performance.
• Support decision-making through scenario analysis, business case evaluation, forecasting, and resource allocation guidance.
• Execute month/year-end closing activities, prepare financial reporting, and perform budget allocations and virements
• Analyse variances and operational metrics to drive performance improvements and support business decisions
• Prepare revenue/expense accruals, grant recovery documentation, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and government policies

Requirements:

• Possesses minimum a Diploma with 3 years of experience in FP&A and/or cost optimisation. Experience within the public sector is a plus.
• Meticulous individual who works well in team settings.
• Proficient in Tableau/PowerBI/dashboarding tools.
