Finance Executive (2-Year Contract), $4,500 (East) - Part-Time

Salary: $3,500 – $4,500 per month

Contract: 2-year renewable contract

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM; Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Work Arrangement: 5-day work week with hybrid work flexibility

Key Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day finance operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets, Lease Accounting, Bank & Cash Management, GST, Inventory Accounting, and Financial Reporting.
• Processing financial transactions accurately and timely using the ERP system.
• Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Performing bank reconciliations, POS reconciliations, and other balance sheet reconciliations.
• Processing vendor invoices and responding to finance-related queries from internal and external stakeholders.
• Preparing audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
• Assisting with GST preparation and statutory submissions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Supporting fixed asset verification exercises and inventory stock counts as required.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve finance-related matters.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant working experience.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with ERP or accounting systems is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
