Finance Operations Analyst (Insurance Financial Reporting) - Part-Time

The Job

• Support the monthly financial book close in line with group financial reporting and local regulatory reporting timeline for Finance Operations with principal areas covering distribution, health, and fixed asset-related process.
• Support daily monitoring of batch run from “Distribution Management System” (DMS) and promptly managing any remediation actions of any exemptions.
• Support Distribution team with monthly schedules and aging schedules.
• Support the product development team and system Day2 IT change request activities as the main finance subject matter expert (SME).
• Work with the Distribution function [Distribution Support Services (DSS) and Distribution Performance Management (DPM)] to ensure correct booking align to the production period and insurance fund.
• Support in managing the end user computing (EUC) controls for Finance Operations.
• Commission and Distribution accounts related “Balance sheet substantiation and reconciliation” support to distribution team

The Talent

• Degree in accounting and finance
• Part / full Perfectional qualification in accounting and finance
• 2-3 years’ experience in finance operations preferably in Life insurance industry
• Prior experience in managing insurance commission & distribution cost booking will be advantageous.
• Ability to adapt to the current GL and policy admin system and operational simplifications using Alteryx , Power builder and AI will be an added advantage.
