Finance Operations Analyst (Public Sector) - Part-Time

The Opportunity:

• Adecco is partnering with public sector to search for a Finance Operation Analyst, supporting a cloud programme by reconciling operational and financial data, improving cost tracking processes, and delivering accurate reporting and analysis across systems such as Workday and Databricks. 

The Job:

• Support Finance Business Partner and Cloud Programme teams in delivering end-to-end finance operations for a cloud programme
• Ensure alignment between operational data (Cloud Management Portal) and financial records (Workday)
• Develop and improve processes to identify, classify, and allocate cloud hosting cost components
• Build and maintain a structured revenue and cost database using Databricks
• Perform reconciliations and provide detailed breakdowns of revenue and costs in line with Workday reporting
• Analyse financial and operational data to identify gaps and recommend process improvements
• Support ongoing finance operations issues and contribute to additional project work as required
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and operational consistency

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related business field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Experience handling large datasets and working in fast-paced environments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with data tools (e.g., Power Query, Power Pivot, Tableau, or similar) preferred
• Experience with ERP systems such as Workday is an advantage
• Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable driving improvements and change
