Finance Operations Executive - Part-Time

Role Summary:

This is tentatively a one-year contract position. We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Operations Executive to support daily finance administration, billing, inventory updates, and operational data management. The role requires someone who is comfortable working with Excel, internal systems, and ERP/accounting platforms. The candidate should also be ready to participate in future NetSuite training and implementation support when the project begins.

Key Responsibilities:

Track AP/AR records, incoming/outgoing funds, and billing updates.

Prepare and maintain billing records for selected products and services.

Update warehouse inventory records for goods received, delivered, issued, or transferred.

Maintain accurate Excel and system records for billing, inventory, accounts, and items.

Create and update customer/account and product/item records in internal systems.

Reconcile records across Excel, internal systems, and operational data.

Coordinate with finance, warehouse, and operations teams to resolve discrepancies.

Support future ERP/NetSuite training, data preparation, and implementation activities.

Requirements:

Experience in finance administration, billing, AP/AR support, inventory administration, or operations support.

Strong Excel skills and high accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.

Experience using accounting systems or ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent.

Comfortable working with manual Excel-based processes while maintaining strong data discipline.

Willing and able to learn NetSuite when implementation begins in the future.

Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.

Able to coordinate with finance, warehouse, operations, and system users.

Responsible, hands-on, and comfortable with repetitive but business-critical tasks.

Preferred:

Prior experience in inventory-based, hardware, telecom, logistics, distribution, or operations-heavy businesses.

Experience supporting billing, stock movement, customer/account setup, or product/item setup.

Prior exposure to ERP implementation, data migration, or system clean-up is an advantage.
