Financial Accountant Financial Reporting & Reconciliation Specialist #HDC - Part-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial records within accounting systems.
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards, accounting regulations, and internal policies.
• Prepare accurate financial statements, including profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow, and income statements.
• Maintain records of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions.
• Support revenue accounting processes, including revenue recognition and deferred revenue reporting.
• Review and maintain billing information to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare accounting reports, process documentation, and financial memos while providing timely support to internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Perform complex reconciliations and ensure all supporting documentation is completed within required timelines.
• Prepare and review quarterly financial and association reports.
• Represent the finance function in cross-functional projects and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, support implementation of new processes, provide training where required, and monitor process effectiveness.
• Undertake additional finance and accounting responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Well-organised with strong time management abilities.
• Meticulous, analytical, and committed to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
