Freelance Accountant (Part-Time / Remote)

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain full set of accounts for SME clients.
• Perform bookkeeping and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Process Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
• Prepare GST returns and assist with tax compliance matters.
• Prepare schedules for annual financial statements and audits.
• Liaise with clients, auditors, tax agents and government authorities when required.
• Maintain proper accounting records using cloud accounting software such as Xero, Zoho Books or QuickBooks.
• Ensure timely completion of accounting assignments and statutory deadlines.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Familiar with Singapore accounting standards and compliance requirements.
• Experience with Xero, Zoho Books, QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Candidates with accounting firm experience will be an advantage.

Working Arrangement
