Functional Tester (Banking) - Part-Time

We are looking for an experienced Functional Tester to join a leading banking project in Singapore. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in banking applications, hands-on testing expertise, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand existing system design and enhancement requirements.
• Prepare, execute, and document System Integration Testing (SIT) test cases.
• Design and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users.
• Coordinate test data preparation and support user queries during testing.
• Support production implementation, live verification, and obtain user sign-off.
• Monitor testing progress, identify issues, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
• Participate proactively in new system functional deliveries, environment monitoring, and user briefings.
• Ensure high-quality application delivery with a strong sense of ownership.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Functional Testing within banking environments.
• Experience with trading systems is an advantage.
• Automation testing experience is mandatory.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Strong knowledge of JIRA and familiarity with Confluence.
• Hands-on experience with VBScript, SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience supporting production releases and post-deployment verification.
• Strong stakeholder management and user support experience.
• Ability to work independently with a high level of ownership.
