Head Of Tech Risk & Governance - Contract - SGDOpen - Part-Time

Are you a seasoned technology risk professional with a passion for safeguarding financial institutions? We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Technology Risk & Governance to strengthen our risk management framework, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote industry best practices. This key leadership role reports directly to the CIO and offers an exciting opportunity to influence our technology controls, security posture, and risk culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technology risk assessments across applications, infrastructure, third-party vendors, and cloud environments.
• Monitor and report on technology risks, KRIs, and control effectiveness.
• Drive compliance with Singapore regulations (MAS TRM Guidelines, PDPA, AML/CFT) and develop policies aligned with industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, ITIL).
• Participate in SDLC reviews to embed security and risk-by-design principles.
• Oversee incident management, business continuity, disaster recovery, and third-party risk assessments.
• Provide expert guidance, develop training programs, and communicate risk posture to stakeholders and regulators.
• Prepare comprehensive risk reports and dashboards for senior management and the Board.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields; Master’s degree is a plus.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in Technology Risk, IT Audit, Information Security, or Compliance within financial services.
• Deep understanding of banking operations, technology infrastructure, and regulatory frameworks (MAS TRM, PDPA, ISO 27001, NIST).
• Relevant certifications such as CRISC, CISM, CISA, or CISSP.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a dynamic environment with a proactive mindset.
