Job Description - IT Planning & Budget Management - Part-Time

Associate / SeniorOfficer – IT Planning & Budget Management

About the Role

Our client is seeking aproactive and detail-oriented Associate / Senior Officer to join the – Planning & Budget Management team within the InformationTechnology Shared Services (ITSS) division of a leading public sectoragency in scientific research.

This role sits at theheart of IT governance and operational planning, supporting procurementcoordination, financial tracking, and planning initiatives that enabletechnology teams to deliver critical digital capabilities across theorganisation.

If you have a strongfoundation in SAP, procurement processing, and administrative coordination,and enjoy working in a structured yet dynamic environment, this role offersexcellent exposure to IT governance, budgeting processes, and public sectorprocurement frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Procurement &Financial Coordination

  • Manage day-to-day procurement administrative activities for goods and services.
  • Raise and process procurement requests through SAP systems (ePRS / PRAS).
  • Support stakeholders in ensuring timely procurement submissions aligned with internal policies.

🔹 Tracking &Process Management

  • Monitor procurement requests, Goods Receipt (GR) processes, and overall procurement status.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for procurement and finance processes.

🔹 Planning & BudgetSupport

  • Support the CIO Office in coordinating IT planning and budgeting activities.
  • Assist in preparing materials for procurement planning discussions and internal reviews.

🔹 StakeholderCoordination

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across IT teams to ensure procurement requirements are met.
  • Facilitate coordination for meetings related to procurement and planning initiatives.

🔹 Operational &Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative support for planning seminars, workshops, and internal initiatives.
  • Assist the team with ad-hoc projects and operational tasks when required.

What We Are Looking For

✔ Degree in Business,Finance, or a related discipline
2–3 years ofadministrative or procurement-related experience
✔ Hands-on experience withSAP systems and procurement workflows
✔ Familiarity with financeand procurement procedures will be advantageous
✔ Proficiency in MicrosoftOffice Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
✔ Strong documentation,organisation, and communication skills
✔ Ability to work independentlyand collaboratively in a team environment
