During your internship as a Junior Associate, you will assist in the preparation of financial reports for regulated investment funds and investment vehicles domiciled in the Cayman Islands, Singapore, Hong Kong, the British Virgin Islands, Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Luxembourg, France, and other jurisdictions.

What you will be doing….
Perform administrative and quality checks on financial statements prepared by the team to ensure completeness and consistency
Review financial statements for formatting, spelling, cross-references, pagination, and basic presentation accuracy
Assist in preparing supporting schedules, working papers, and documentation required for financial statement completion
Present financial statements for review to senior members of staff
Update and maintain available tracking logs, checklists, and internal records to monitor the progress of financial statement engagements
Liaise with internal team members to follow up on outstanding documents or amendments required
Liaise with external parties in relation to financial statements, including investment managers, administrators, auditors and other service providers
Assist with ad hoc administrative and operational tasks as assigned by the team
What will you need….
Related degree or qualification
Excellent communication skills
Ability to plan, prioritise between tasks and adhere to strict time deadlines
Ability to work on own initiative
Some industry experience in an accounting role would be an advantage
Academic knowledge of IFRS and GAAP accounting principles would be an advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
A keen interest in learning and in career progression
