Loan Processing / Testing Support (6-Month Contract Bank) - Part-Time

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to support both operational testing / validation activities and business-as-usual loan processing operations. This role will be involved in testing initiatives for automation and AI-driven projects, while also ensuring the smooth and compliant execution of loan processing activities across secured and unsecured lending products.

The ideal candidate will have experience in UAT / functional testing, keen attention to detail, and a solid understanding of loan operations, documentation checks, and pre-disbursement processes.
Key Responsibilities
1) Operational Testing & Validation

• Validate test outputs generated through automation and AI solutions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and data integrity.
• Participate actively in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and work closely with Operations, Business, and Technology teams to support testing cycles and issue resolution.
• Develop detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts based on business and operational requirements.
• Perform functional testing, document test outcomes, log defects, and track resolution progress using tools such as JIRA.
• Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for process improvement during testing activities, and contribute recommendations to enhance efficiency and control effectiveness.
• Support testing and validation activities for strategic transformation initiatives, including the Mortgage Agentic AI project.

2) Loan Operations & Processing (BAU)

• Perform pre-disbursement and pre-processing activities for Auto Loans, ensuring timely and accurate execution in accordance with internal procedures.
• Review and process loan documentation for secured loans, non-mortgage loans, and mortgage loans, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal credit, operational, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all documentation and pre-disbursement conditions are fulfilled prior to loan disbursement, in line with service turnaround times and credit quality standards.
• Administer and process Letters of Offer, ensuring all terms and conditions are properly captured and fulfilled.
• Conduct checks on credit files and supporting documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper maintenance of records.
• Monitor and follow up on special conditions precedent / subsequent to ensure timely closure and compliance.
• Manage the safekeeping and control of title deeds and security documents in accordance with operational and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Banking, Finance or any related discipline.
• Experience in operations, loan processing, banking operations, or testing / UAT support within a financial institution.
• Familiarity with functional testing, defect tracking, and UAT processes.
• Good understanding of loan documentation, pre-disbursement checks, and operational controls across lending products.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work across multiple stakeholders, including Operations, Business, and Technology teams.
