Middle Office Trade Operations (6 Months Contract) - Part-Time

Job Description:

• Manage and support the end-to-end trade lifecycle across Fixed Income, Equities, and FX products.
• Perform trade confirmation, settlement, and post-trade processing accurately and within established service level agreements.
• Monitor and resolve trade exceptions, breaks, and discrepancies, ensuring timely resolution.
• Escalate trade-related issues where appropriate and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external counterparties to resolve outstanding items.
• Liaise with Front Office, Operations, Custody, Settlements, Technology, and other counterparties to facilitate smooth trade processing.
• Prepare and maintain operational reports where needed.
• Utilise Microsoft Excel and other operational tools for reporting, reconciliation, analysis, and issue tracking.
• Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency through automation, process improvements, and workflow optimisation.

Requirements:

• Min. degree in Banking, Finance Economics, or a related discipline.
• Prior 1-2 years experience in middle office, trade support, or trade settlements roles within a financial institution.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a deadline-driven environment.
• Able to start work immediately or within short notice
