Portfolio Manager - Part-Time

Norges Bank Investment Management is seeking an outstanding individual to join our team as Portfolio Manager, based in Singapore.

Our Portfolio Managers run delegated investment mandates with a large degree of autonomy. Investment decision processes are based on fundamental company and industry research, capitalising on our unique characteristics — namely world-class corporate access and a long-term time horizon — providing a strong basis for investment outperformance.

What you will do

• Manage a significant equity portfolio, based on processes that ensure consistent delivery of superior long-term investment returns
• Combine differentiated company analysis with equity market insights and portfolio construction considerations to inform investment decisions
• Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, particularly the portfolio companies you cover
• Act as a strong ambassador for the fund and represent its interests and values externally
• Contribute to the fund's ownership activities by assessing and engaging on relevant company and sector issues
• Be an active participant in team tasks and contribute to relevant investment discussions internally

What you need

• Understanding of the equity markets you cover — their structure, trends, competitive dynamics, and key value drivers — developed through meaningful investment experience
• A degree in Finance, Economics, or a closely related field is preferred, though not a strict requirement
• 5+ years of professional experience in equity portfolio management and financial markets
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools into your investment process
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends and developments
• Excellent communication skills enabling high-quality interaction with companies at senior executive level
• Ability to work independently with a high degree of autonomy and decision-making capacity
