Private Wealth Management (Margin Lending) - 6 Months Contract - Part-Time

About the Role

The Private Wealth Management (PWM) Margin Lending team is responsible for ensuring client accounts remain within approved exposure limits and taking appropriate action when borrowing capacity limits are exceeded. The team works closely with business partners, risk management, credit, and technology teams to ensure margin calls are accurately calculated, issued, and resolved in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Calculate and issue margin calls for Private Wealth Management clients.

• Validate and ensure all margin calls are issued accurately and within required timelines.

• Monitor client accounts and exposure levels, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding margin requirements.

• Respond to incoming queries and collaborate with various stakeholders across Risk, Credit, Technology, and Operations teams.

• Investigate, resolve, and escalate client disputes and operational issues where necessary.

• Support daily regulatory reporting obligations across business lines.

• Identify opportunities to enhance operational processes, controls, and efficiency.

• Participate in regional and global projects, including process improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and operational change management.

• Assist with inquiry management and client-related requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.

• Prior internship experience within financial services, banking, asset management, or capital markets is required.

• Basic understanding of financial products and financial markets.

• Strong analytical and numerical skills.

• Experience working with large datasets and operational workflows is advantageous. Skills & Competencies
