Job Summary

Conduct comprehensive research, financial analysis, and due diligence on global investment opportunities to support informed decision-making and portfolio management in a multi-asset environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and evaluate global investment opportunities across private equity, venture capital, real estate, public equities, and fixed income to identify viable investments.
• Perform due diligence and analyze new investment opportunities to provide actionable recommendations to the Investment Manager and Investment Committee.
• Research economic, industry, and financial market trends to inform asset allocation decisions.
• Prepare detailed investment memorandums outlining deal structure, return potential, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Develop and execute financial models including DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and LBO models to assess investment returns.
• Analyze operating results of portfolio investments against KPIs and investment theses, reporting performance insights to management.
• Assist in legal negotiations and coordinate legal documentation related to investments.
• Support trade execution and liaise with counterparties, banks, and external advisors to ensure smooth transaction processes.

Required competencies and certifications

• Demonstrated fundamental analysis skills with 1–3 years of experience in investment analysis, equity research, corporate finance, valuation advisory, or management consulting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint to create financial models and presentations.
• Fluent written and spoken English to communicate investment ideas clearly.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
• CFA Level 1 certification passed (minimum).

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience using research platforms such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or PitchBook and integrating these tools into the investment process.
• CFA Level 2 or higher certification.
• Proficiency in Mandarin to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking Subject Matter Expert.
