Job Summary

As an RPA Business Analyst Developer, you will analyse, design, develop, test, deploy, and support automation solutions using UiPath. The role will focus on automating business processes across enterprise applications, with key experience in AS400 process automation, including screen-based transactions, data entry, data extraction, validation, and exception handling. You will work closely with process owners, IT teams, and business stakeholders to assess automation feasibility, gather requirements, design practical solutions, and deliver stable, scalable, and well-controlled RPA workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse business processes and identify suitable automation opportunities using UiPath, especially processes involving AS400 applications, screens, transactions, and workflows.
• Gather and document business, functional, and technical requirements from process owners, SMEs, and IT teams.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain RPA workflows, reusable components, and automation assets.
• Build automation solutions that interact with AS400, databases, internal platforms, web applications, and other enterprise systems.
• Perform process mapping, exception analysis, and solution design to ensure automation workflows are practical, reliable, and supportable.
• Support unit testing, SIT, UAT, defect fixing, production readiness, and post-implementation support.
• Troubleshoot automation issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes or improvements.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including process design, solution design, test evidence, deployment guide, and operational handover documents.
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions with upstream and downstream systems.
• Ensure automation delivery complies with internal change management, security, risk, governance, and quality standards.
• Monitor automation performance and recommend continuous improvement opportunities

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on RPA development experience using UiPath.
• Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline; relevant UiPath certification will be an advantage.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in programming, scripting, SQL, relational databases, or application development.
• Experience in automating AS400-based processes, including screen navigation, transaction processing, data input, data extraction, validation, and exception handling.
• Good understanding of business process analysis, requirements gathering, process design, and automation feasibility assessment.
• Experience in developing, testing, implementing, and supporting automation solutions in business and technical environments.
• Experience in SIT, UAT support, bug fixing, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution.
• Good documentation skills for process design, technical design, testing, deployment, and support handover.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with process owners, SMEs, IT teams, and business users.
