Securities Settlements Analyst L 12-Month Contract L Up To $7K - Part-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage trade settlements for equities, fixed income, funds, IPOs, and other securities products.
• Handle client inquiries and resolve settlement-related issues within agreed SLAs.
• Investigate and resolve settlement exceptions, cash and asset breaks, and failed trades.
• Work closely with internal teams and sub-custodians to ensure timely trade settlement.
• Perform root cause analysis and drive process improvements and control enhancements.
• Review and maintain SOPs to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Act as an SME for assigned markets and support issue escalations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification.
• 4+ years of experience in Securities Settlements, Custody Operations, Brokerage Operations, Middle Office, or Financial Services.
• In-depth knowledge of post-trade processing, custody operations, and settlement lifecycle.
• Experience handling equities, fixed income, funds, and IPOs.
• Good understanding of operational risk, controls, and exception management.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and support public holiday coverage when required.
