UAT Tester (Payments) (JD#11137) - Part-Time

Job Summary

Seeking a Software Test Analyst to support testing activities across payment systems and transaction processing platforms within a banking environment. The role will focus on ensuring the quality, accuracy, and reliability of payment applications, supporting system enhancements, regulatory initiatives, and project implementations. 

Mandatory Skill-set

• Must have 2 years of experience in UAT, system testing / software testing, preferably within banking or financial services;
• Experience in test planning, test case design, test execution, and defect management;
• Hands-on experience with JIRA for defect and test management;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail;
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Desired Skill-set

• Experience working with banking, payments, or financial systems;
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies;
• Experience coordinating with business users, product owners, and technology teams throughout the testing lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Identify test scenarios and coverage requirements;
• Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and supporting test data;
• Perform UAT planning, execution, and validation of test results;
• Work closely with product owners, IT teams, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth testing and implementation activities;
• Log, track, and follow up on defects through to resolution using JIRA;
• Document test execution results, defects, and testing evidence;
• Provide regular updates on testing progress, issues, risks, and key milestones;
• Support issue investigation and perform analytical reviews to validate system behaviour and business requirements.
