3 Months Contract Claims Support $2K (EAA) - Part-Time

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle claims registration for Life Insurance and General Insurance Personal Lines within the required turnaround time and ensure that claims are registered accurately in the system.
• Handle screening of bills/supporting documents to verify policy information and status.
• Support claim officers in the requisition for payments on approved claims.
• Liaise with claimants, policyholders and agents on outstanding requirements, including sending acknowledgement emails and attending to escalated claims enquiries.
• Build collaborative relationships with internal and external key stakeholders.
• Suggest and participate in process improvement projects, initiatives and system enhancements, including establishing claims best practices.
• Any other ad-hoc projects assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• NITEC/Diploma in any discipline
• Able to work OT if required
• Strong analytical, written and communication skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
