We are looking for warm, enthusiastic and community-minded individuals to join our pioneer team of Move It Well Active Living Guides.

About the Role

As a Move It Well Active Living Guide, you will be one of the friendly faces representing our company.

You will guide participants during our weekly Discovery Walks, help customers experience our walking-assist exoskeletons, and support product demonstrations for customers interested in learning more about our movement technology.

This is more than a retail role. We are looking for someone who enjoys encouraging others, building relationships and creating enjoyable experiences that inspire people to stay active.

What You'll Be Doing

Discovery Walk Experience

• Welcome participants and create a warm, friendly and enjoyable environment.
• Assist participants in putting on and removing the walking-assist exoskeleton.
• Walk alongside participants during the Discovery Walk.
• Encourage conversations and help participants feel comfortable throughout the session.
• Support event registration, refreshments and participant engagement.
• Assist with event setup and packing up after each session.

Product Experience & Customer Consultation

• Conduct product demonstrations and product experience sessions.
• Explain the features and benefits of the walking-assist exoskeleton in a simple and engaging manner.
• Understand customers' needs and answer their questions with confidence and empathy.
• Address common concerns and help customers determine whether the product is suitable for their lifestyle.
• Explain purchase and rental options clearly.
• Support customers throughout their product experience journey.

Retail & Administrative Support

• Process customer payments using our point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Prepare simple sales and rental documentation.
• Issue receipts and maintain basic customer records.
• Support general showroom operations when required.

Equipment Management

• Prepare equipment before each session.
• Inspect, clean and sanitise exoskeletons after every use.
• Charge batteries and ensure equipment is ready for the next customer.
• Handle and store equipment according to company procedures.

Active seniors, mature workers and retirees are especially encouraged to apply, as the role involves building rapport with senior participants during our Discovery Walks.

Skills & Competencies

Successful candidates should be comfortable learning to:

• Conduct Discovery Walks confidently.
• Demonstrate and explain the walking-assist exoskeleton.
• Conduct product experience sessions independently.
• Address customers' questions and concerns with empathy and confidence.
• Explain product purchase and rental options.
• Use a POS system to process payments.
• Prepare simple sales and rental documentation.
• Perform basic administrative tasks using a computer.
• Maintain and sanitise equipment according to company procedures.

No previous experience with exoskeleton technology is required. Comprehensive training will be provided.

Physical & Practical Requirements

You should be:

• Comfortable walking outdoors during Discovery Walks.
• Comfortable wearing and demonstrating the walking-assist exoskeleton.
• Comfortable assisting participants with fitting and removing the equipment.
• Able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 5kg.
• Comfortable travelling to Discovery Walk venues and our showroom when rostered.

Working Arrangements

• Part-time position.
• Expected commencement: Mid-October2026.
• Weekly Discovery Walk (currently Saturday mornings).
• Product experience sessions by appointment.
• Approximately 2–4 sessions per month initially, with opportunities for additional sessions as the business grows.
• Minimum commitment of 3 months preferred.

Training & Onboarding

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to:

1. Attend an interview.
2. Experience our walking-assist exoskeleton and Discovery Walk programme.
3. Complete our Move It Well Active Living Guide Training Programme.
4. Support initial sessions alongside our team before conducting activities independently.
