Admin Executive (Data Ops Support) - Part-Time

Contract duration: 12 months (agency contract)

Working hours: Mon - Fri (Office hours)

The Role
We need an Admin Executive to support a government agency's Data Management Division daily operations. This is not a data analysis role, it's an operations admin role where you'll manage the team's incoming requests, track progress, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

What You'll Do

• Manage the Data Ops shared mailbox — monitor, log, and assign incoming requests

• Maintain a request tracker and ensure all items are updated in real time

• Generate weekly reports on request volumes and SLA compliance

• Support user onboarding by processing data access requests

• Assist the Data Ops and Data Engineering teams with ad hoc admin tasks

What You Need

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field

• Comfortable with Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, sorting, filtering) and Outlook

• Strong attention to detail — you spot errors before they become problems

• Able to multitask and prioritise when requests come in fast

• Good communication skills for liaising with internal teams
