About the role: We are looking for an energetic, people-first intern to support community programmes, events, and front-of-house operations, while helping us build meaningful connections across our ecosystem through engagement and storytelling.
In this role, you will:
Community Engagement, Events & Programme Support
Act as part of the front-of-house team for Lorong AI, supporting visitor engagement, community interactions, and day-to-day coordination activities
Support the planning and execution of workshops, community programmes, networking sessions, and events
Coordinate event logistics, registrations, materials, venue setup, and stakeholder communications
Assist with sponsorship coordination and event activation activities
Support programme implementation and operational coordination
Assist in gathering participant feedback and monitoring programme performance
Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of activities and initiatives
Marketing, Communications & Administrative Support
Assist with preparation of presentation materials, reports, social media content, and stakeholder updates
Support basic content creation and coordination for marketing and community engagement initiatives
Maintain records of partnerships, events, programme activities, and participant engagement data
Assist with general administrative and coordination duties related to programmes and events
Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Events Management, Business, Media, or related fields
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Organised, responsible, and detail-oriented
Comfortable interacting with guests, partners, and community members
Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Interest in sustainability, innovation, startups, or community-building is a plus
Familiarity with Canva, social media platforms, or content creation tools will be advantageous
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
