DISCIPLINE SUPPORT OFFICER - Part-Time

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols and supervise students during recess, lunch, and transition periods.
• Monitor student behaviour and support preventive discipline measures.
• Assist with peer conflict resolution and basic mediation where appropriate.
• Record and manage daily late coming attendance and data.
• Supervise students assigned to in-house suspension and facilitate reflective activities.
• Support students' reintegration into the classroom after suspension.
• Assist in preliminary investigations by gathering information and statements.
• Compile evidence and prepare incident reports for school leaders.
• Maintain accurate discipline records and related documentation.
• Report to the Student Development Committee and follow the school's deployment schedule.
• Demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, andsound judgement in all duties.
• Build positive relationships with students and collaborate effectively with teachers and school leaders.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a uniformed service(e.g. Singapore Police Force, Singapore Prison Service, or equivalent).
• Experience in youth case investigation, behavioural support, or restorative practices.
• Strong conflict management, de-escalation, and communication skills.
• Good judgement, professionalism, and discretion.
• Ability to document incidents accurately and maintain records.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic data management.
• Firm yet respectful approach with the ability tobuild rapport with students.
• Able to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff.
• Committed to confidentiality, fairness, and professional ethics.
• Demonstrates empathy and supports a care-based,restorative approach to student development.
