Responsibilities
• Preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensuring facilities are safe and well-functioning • Handling all repairs and maintenance of facilities • Coordinating projects, soliciting bids and quotes from vendors • Monitoring contractor performance and working with outside vendors • Maintaining building security and responding to emergencies • Managing equipment upkeep to meet health and safety standards • Possessing hands-on experience in repair and maintenance • Attending to all correspondence, notifications, and inquiries • Managing incident control and activation of parties for response • Supervising security personnel and facility maintenance staff • Applying for necessary government licenses and certificates • Undertaking the Safety Manager role as required • Performing any other assigned duties
Requirements
• Hands-on experience in repair and maintenance • Experience with coldroom systems, equipment, machinery, and fixtures • Basic electrical knowledge • Familiarity with safety program management and implementation • Supervisory experience • Knowledge of government licensing and inspection requirements • Knowledge of WSH regulations • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills • Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple responsibilities
