Job Title: Operation Manager (Manufacturing Industry)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operation Manager to oversee the end-to-end operational management of our manufacturing factory in Singapore. This role is core to factory production operation, quality control, team management, cost control, safety management and process optimization. The manager will be responsible for ensuring stable factory production efficiency, standardized operational procedures, on-time order delivery, and continuous improvement of overall factory profitability and comprehensive operational level, complying with Singapore local industrial regulations and MOM policies.

Job Responsibilities

• Formulate, optimize and implement factory overall operation SOP, covering production workflow, product quality inspection process, staff daily operation specifications, warehouse management and factory site management, ensure full implementation and standardization of all operational procedures.
• Supervise daily factory operation, including production progress tracking, staff attendance management, on-site 5S management, equipment operation status and production safety inspection, timely rectify operational irregularities and eliminate production hidden dangers.
• Take charge of factory overall performance and production target management, formulate monthly and annual production plans, output targets and cost control goals, analyze operational and production data, track target completion, and formulate improvement plans to boost production efficiency.
• Establish and improve factory staff training and assessment system, organize regular training for production operators and technical staff, cover operational skills, product standards, safety production specifications and workplace discipline, and conduct regular assessment audits.
• Coordinate production, procurement, warehouse and logistics teams, arrange raw material entry, production scheduling and finished goods delivery reasonably, ensure on-time order delivery and effectively control production cycle.
• Optimize product quality management system, track product quality problems in production process, analyze defect causes, formulate rectification and improvement measures, reduce product defective rate and customer complaint rate.
• Unified management of factory production equipment, raw materials, spare parts and finished goods inventory, formulate regular inventory counting, equipment maintenance and material replenishment mechanisms, control production and operational costs, avoid waste and overstock.
• Lead and manage factory production teams and administrative staff, optimize personnel allocation and staffing arrangement, formulate reasonable performance appraisal and incentive mechanisms, improve team stability and overall work efficiency.
• Track Singapore manufacturing industry market trends, industrial policies and peer operational modes, adjust factory operation and production strategies timely, improve factory market competitiveness and operational flexibility.
• Strictly implement and comply with Singapore MOM employment regulations, workplace safety laws, industrial environmental protection standards and company rules, ensure 100% compliant operation of the factory.
• Compile daily, monthly and annual factory operation reports, sort out production operation problems, summarize improvement experience, and submit operational analysis and optimization plans to company senior management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of formal operation management experience in manufacturing factories, familiar with full-process factory operation and production management.
• Familiar with manufacturing production workflow, quality control standards, warehouse management, equipment maintenance and cost control management.
• Strong team leadership, overall planning ability, data analysis ability and problem-solving ability, able to independently formulate and implement factory operation plans.
• Familiar with Singapore local manufacturing industry regulations, MOM workplace safety and employment compliance requirements is a priority.
• Good English communication and written skills, able to communicate with local authorities, suppliers and multi-national team members proficiently.
• Responsible, rigorous in work, able to work under pressure, capable of coordinating cross-department work and improving overall operational efficiency.
• Relevant manufacturing operation management certificate or production management experience is an added advantage.
