Operations Intern - Part-Time

Job Description:

· Follow-up L/C issuance

· Send voyage order

· Monitor cargo itinerary

· Manage trade documents and shipping documents

· Appoint cargo surveyor

· Handle cargo claims, demurrage calculations, and invoicing

· Update operations reports and filing

· Coordinate with the Finance department for payment and reconciliation

· Liais timely and effectively with suppliers, buyers, ship brokers, cargo surveyors, cargo agents, and insurance companies

· Maintain good relationships with counterparties

Job Requirements:

· Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Maritime, Shipping, International Trade, International Finance, Business or other related fields.

· Internship should contribute to school graduation requirements

· Have impeccable follow-through, and ‘Can Do’ attitude and mindset

· A team player

· Bilingual with basic knowledge in Mandarin is preferred to communicate with mandarin speaking colleagues
