Part-Time Sports Tuition & Program Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Part-Time Sports Tuition &Program Assistant to join our team. If you have a passion for sports, an understanding of sports instruction, and a knack for creating exceptional experiences for students and parents, we want to hear from you! In this role, you will be the face of our academy, assisting clients with their training programs, managing lesson bookings, and contributing to a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Student & Parent Service Excellence:

o   Greet all students and parents warmly upon arrival and offer proactive assistance.

o   Actively listen to customer goals and provide personalized program or class recommendations based on the student's age, skill level, and interests.

o   Handle checking in students through our class management portal, give stickers to kids once they finish their classes. Resolve scheduling or package issues if needed.

o   Ensure a consistently positive, encouraging, and helpful experience for every student and parent.

·       Tuition& Booking Support:

o   Assist clients with class selection, program enrollment, and explaining core curriculum features (e.g., progression pathways, lesson formats).

o   Process tuition fees, package renewals, and ad-hoc booking transactions accurately using our POS and student management software systems.

o   Maintain an in-depth knowledge of current class schedules, seasonal camps, academy promotions, and makeup lesson policies.

·      Program & Court Operations:

o   Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe court environment, ensuring training equipment (balls, cones, targets) is properly set up, stocked, and maintained.

o   Assist with tracking class attendance, managing waitlists, and documenting student check-ins.

o   Support academy opening and closing procedures, ensuring tuition areas and courts are secure.

o   Contribute to a safe and secure learning environment for both students and coaching staff.

Qualifications:

·      Proven experience in a customer service, hospitality, or administrative role, preferably within a sports academy, fitness center, or tuition hub.

·      A genuine passion for sports and an understanding of sports instruction, coaching dynamics, or youth programs.

·      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and family-friendly demeanor.

·      Ability to work flexible part-time hours, including weekday evenings, weekends and public holidays when core classes run.

·      Strong problem-solving abilities, great organizational skills, and a positive, can-do attitude.

·      High school diploma or equivalent.
