Objectives:

• Strengthen self-identity through guided reflection and

coaching practices

• Support emotional regulation and processing of micro-

traumas

• Build peer connection and safe group belonging

Deliverables:

• Documented session plans aligned to:

o Trauma-informed practices

o Growth of inner self (identity, values, strengths)

• Attendance and engagement tracking

• Pre/post student self-assessment (e.g. belonging, self-

awareness)

• Progress summaries for school (while maintaining

appropriate confidentiality)

B. After-School Engagement (ASE)

(i) Relationship-based engagement after curriculum

hours

Format: Informal, relationship-based engagement after

curriculum hours

Objectives:

• Deepen rapport and trust with students

• Provide a safe, consistent adult presence

• Encourage positive use of time and peer bonding

Activities include:

• Interest-based engagement (e.g. games, conversations,

check-ins)

• Light-touch mentoring and academic encouragement

• Social-emotional support in a less formal setting

Deliverables:

• Engagement logs (participation, frequency)

• Observational insights on student behaviour and peer

dynamics

• Identification of emerging needs or risks

(ii) Structured mental health intervention programme

Format: Structured mental health intervention programme (6–

8 sessions)

Components:

• Psychoeducation (mental health awareness)

• Group work sessions

• Engagement booths (e.g. outreach within school)

Objectives:

• Increase mental health awareness and coping strategies

• Provide early support for students with emotional distress

• Reduce stigma and improve help-seeking behaviours

Implementation Considerations:

• School to be informed of programme progress and general

outcomes

• For out-of-school engagement (e.g. home visits), prior

school approval required

• Guardians may be contacted in cases of identified risk

• Use of assessment tools where appropriate

Deliverables:

• Programme outline and session structure

• Participation records

• Pre/post indicators (e.g. distress levels, coping awareness)

• Summary report to school
