Senior Recruiter - Clinical Research Unit (1 YR Contract) - Part-Time

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Responsible for recruiting healthy volunteers and special sub-group population for clinical trials in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), study and regulatory requirements.

CORE JOB TASK

Functional Duties

• Participates in the development of study specific recruitment plan.
• Plans and executes the recruitment activities according to study specific recruitment plan.
• Familiar with protocol requirements to be able to provide potential trial participants a study overview.
• Prepares and sends study invitation to potential volunteers.
• Schedules screening appointment for study visits.
• Participates in the development of recruitment strategies.
• Assists in the coordination of publicity blitz and recruitment exercises.
• Provides support for external collaboration to drive recruitment initiatives.
• Updates and maintains recruitment database as necessary.

Organization and Planning

• Assists Manager - Patient Recruitment collate recruitment metrics.
• Assists Manager – Patient Recruitment in the implementation/creation of forms and documents for recruitment activities in compliance with study & regulatory requirements.
• Works with Manager – Patient Recruitment on process improvement initiatives.
• Works with Business Operations to coordinate scheduling of screening appointments.

People Skills

• Maintains good interpersonal relationship with colleagues.
• Demonstrates good Customer/Public Relation skills (e.g. good telephone etiquette and telemarketing skills).
• Demonstrates professionalism in interactions with clinical trial participants, respects a participant’s rights and privacy and keeps in strictest confidence all privilege information (PI).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSAND EXPERIENCE

• Certificate/Diploma or Degree in any discipline.
• Some experiences in volunteer recruitment will be valuable but not mandatory.
• Some experiences in customer service or telemarketing positions are desirable.
